Museum o Memories, co-created video game, Bridgwater & Taunton College x East Quay (June 2025)

Over the course of two weeks, artist Ama Dogbe led a digital art residency with first-year Art & Design students (aged 16–21) at Bridgwater & Taunton College. The project explored the theme of Collections and culminated in a collaborative, experimental video game titled Museum of Memories.

Ama introduced students to creative digital tools and supported them through idea development, hands-on workshops, and making sessions. Using a mix of physical and digital media, students created 2D and 3D visual elements that were scanned and transformed into a virtual world.

The residency concluded with a curatorial workshop and group show at East Quay, where students took full ownership of installing and presenting their work.

The exhibition invites visitors to explore the game inside Studio 10, where the physical making process is displayed alongside the digital outcomes. Viewers can interact with the game using console controllers provided in the space.
