Alongside my practice as an artist, I work as a Creative Producer, supporting artists, organisations and collaborators to realise ambitious projects, exhibitions and events.

I graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Loughborough University in 2021. Since then, I have balanced my own artistic practice with freelance roles across galleries, arts administration and project production. While I would not describe myself as a curator, I have increasingly come to understand my role as that of a producer: someone who helps ideas move from conception to realisation.

My work combines research, organisation, logistics and creative thinking. I enjoy working closely with artists, understanding their processes, and finding practical ways to support the development of their projects. This can involve managing budgets and schedules, coordinating collaborators, securing additional funding, supporting future touring opportunities, overseeing installations, and producing live events.

I have worked closely with artists including Lakwena Maciver, Dan Guthrie and Jazmin Morris, supporting projects at different stages of development through a combination of practical, technical and conceptual support.

The logistical, technical and organisational skills I bring place me firmly in the role of producer. Yet it is my ongoing practice as an artist that shapes how I approach this work. I understand that projects rarely begin with their public presentation. They have often lived several lives before they are seen—through conversations, sketches, research, false starts and revisions—and they continue to evolve long after they enter the world.

To support the birth of a project is to recognise all of these stages. My approach to producing is steeped in care, generosity and adaptability. I see producing not simply as the management of people, budgets and timelines, but as a creative practice in itself: one that helps ideas take shape, creates the conditions for them to thrive, and honours the many forms they may take along the way.
